History

Our history dates back to 1998 when we first launched as a mortgage lender. Have a look at how we have changed to become Foundation Home Loans.

2015 - Foundation Home Loans

In 2015 we transitioned our business to that of a lender and servicer and introduced the brand Foundation Home Loans.
2011 - Paratus AMC Ltd

In 2011 we changed our name to Paratus AMC Limited.
2010 - Post credit crunch

Following the credit crunch, we realigned our business to focus on mortgage servicing and in 2010 were acquired by funds managed by Fortress Investment Group LLC.
2006 - Larger lender

By 2006, we had become the UK's 10th largest lender.
2002 - Large lender

By 2002 we had had become the UK’s 13^th largest lender.
2000 - GMAC-RFC

In 2000 we were bought by GMAC and changed our name to GMAC-RFC Limited. Later that year we introduced the brand GMAC Residential Funding (GMAC-RFC).
1998 - Launch

We launched as a lender in the United Kingdom in 1998 with the name RFC Mortgage Services Limited.
